Diana C. Yuen, O.D.

Dr. Diana Yuen has enjoyed providing eyecare in the Grand Avenue area for over 20 years. She was born and raised right here in the Crocker Highlands area where she went to school, and eventually, graduated from Oakland High School. She then studied Biology at Mills College before entering the UC Berkeley School of Optometry where she earned her doctorate degree.

Dr. Yuen is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, UC Berkeley School of Optometry Alumni Association, the Asian Optometric Study Group, and VisionSource, an international network of distinguished independent eyecare professionals.

Aside from practicing optometry, Dr. Yuen enjoys spending time with her two daughters, aged 20 and 17, and her husband, Ray. Much of her “free” time is spent supporting her children’s activities which include piano, violin and vocal lessons, tennis, ballet, theater, and events at their school, Head-Royce, where husband Ray serves as the Director of Educational Technology. In addition, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing the piano, cooking, theater, and spending time with friends and extended family.

Dr. Yuen looks forward to sharing her expertise and meeting all of your eyecare needs. She gladly welcomes new and returning patients alike.
